The Ultimate Watercress Sandwich

Cover slices of wholemeal bread with butter or an alternative and add a thin film of marmite or your favorite savoury spread.

Wash, drain and dry the watercress, and place a layer, about an inch thick on one slice before topping with another.

Lots of complimentary fillings can be added. Watercress goes well with cheese, ham, tuna, prawns and crab fish paste.
